Photographic Safaris!
At Zuri Expeditions, we do offer one of the best photographic experience to both professionals and amateur photographers interested in wildlife photography.
We use purposely-built land cruiser vehicles which are modified and designed to meet your needs. The safari vehicles have pop-up roofs and are open-sided to provide the perfect views during the game drives. They are also fitted with side bars on both sides for the purpose of placing bean bags to support you camera during action.
For comfort reasons, we do carry a maximum number of four guest per vehicle to allow plenty of space for movement within the vehicle.
Our photographic safari guides have incredible knowledge of flora and fauna. This enables them to study the animal behavior and know where to position the vehicle in the best light. We offer the best photographic safaris which are tailor made to suit your interest and budget .we also use lodges and camps located inside or close to the park in order to capitalize on the early morning and late afternoon light.
Jambo! Welcome to Kenya. Your safari begins in Nairobi the capital city. Upon arrival, you will be welcome by our airport representative who will then transfer you to the hotel for check in. The rest of the day spent at leisure.
You will meet your guide today for the tour briefing so that he/she can be able to take you through the itinerary. The guide will also be able to answer any of your questions related to your trip.

After breakfast, we will check out and transfer to Wilson airport for your flight to Masai Mara National Reserve. The flights usually takes approx. 45 minutes to Masai Mara and upon landing, you will meet your driver guide ready to pick you up and transfer to the lodge. If time allows then we can do a game drive en route as we head towards the lodge for check in and lunch afterwards.
We will take a little bit of rest after lunch as we wait for the sun intensity to cool down before heading out for late afternoon game drive in search of the big 5.

Today, we will transfer to one of the wildlife conservancies located north of Masai Mara National Reserve. The wildlife conservancies offers one of the best game viewing and wildlife photography opportunities in the area. It is one of the best place to witness the spectacular procession of wildlife that roams the vast plains of the park. This ecosystem is home to various species of wildlife such as wildebeest, zebras, lions, cheetahs, elephants, giraffes, buffaloes and the elusive leopard.
This is the place where one of the greatest spectacles on earth-the annual wildebeest migration takes place, where millions of wildebeest, zebras and gazelles migrate between Serengeti National Park in Tanzania and Masai Mara in Kenya.
Your 4 nights stay at the camp will involve early morning starts to maximize the golden hour. Depending on the wildlife movement and location, there will be some days when we will break the safari into morning and afternoon game drive. This means that we will leave early in the morning for the game drive then return back to the camp for lunch and then relax a little bit before resuming again for the afternoon game drive until sunset.
Some of the days might be longer due to full day game drives stretching from morning until sunset (approx. 12 hours) or more. During such long game drives, we do carry packed lunch to avoid coming back to the camp for lunch.

This morning, we will do our final game drive in the park then followed by late breakfast back at the camp. After breakfast, we will check out and transfer to the nearby airstrip in Masai Mara for your flight back to Nairobi (approximately 1 hour).
The trip ends today in Nairobi late in the afternoon. Accommodation is not included on this day, but we would be glad to arrange this for you if would like to have an additional post-trip accommodation (charged extra).
