Lake Nakuru National Park is located west of Nairobi, on the floor of the Great Rift Valley. The park is well known for its sizeable population of flamingos who reside in the lake, attracting thousands of visitors all throughout the year.
The park is home to various species of wildlife including the endangered Rothschild giraffes, lions, leopards, ostriches, rhinos, bufallos, warthogs and more than 450 species of birds.
Lake Nakuru National Park is accessible all year round from January to December.
