Ngorongoro Crater is a wildlife protected area and a UNESCO world heritage site situated in Northern Tanzania. The intact volcanic caldera is home to thousands of wildlife including black rhino, gazelles, zebras, hippos, elephants, lions, and many more.
The conservation area is well known for having the highest density of wildlife per square kilometers and is nicknamed by wildlife enthusiasts as the “ Garden of Eden’’.
Ngorongoro Crater is open throughout the year but the best time to visit is between the month of June and February.
