Serengeti National park

Serengeti National Park is one of the oldest parks in Tanzania with an area of 14,472 square kilometers. It’s designated as a UNESCO world heritage site offering one of the best wildlife safari in the country.

It is also the best place to witness the annual migration of wildebeest and zebras moving in millions across the vast endless plains in search of fresh pastures and water. It is home to various species of wildlife such as giraffes, hippos, impalas, elephants, lions, leopard, cheetah, black rhino and several species of birds.

Serengeti National Park is accessible throughout the year but the best time to visit is during the dry season from June to February.

The rainfall season starts in March through April and May hence resulting to dense vegetation making a little bit tricky to spot wildlife in the tall grass.
